DENVER–Just hours after graduating with the rest of the University of Denver Class of 2013, Eric Law joined his new Denver Outlaws teammates for the first time and made his professional debut at Sports Authority Field at Mile High.
Law tied for a game-high with four goals and earned Player of the Game efforts after helping Denver improve to 6-0 and emerge as the only remaining unbeaten MLL team with the club’s 22-9 win over previously undefeated Hamilton.
After Hamilton scored a pair of goals in the final minute of the first half, Head Coach Jim Stagnitta inserted Law into the lineup to start the second half. Just 18 seconds into the third quarter, Law scored his first professional goal – a shorthanded tally that gave Denver an 11-5 lead. He scored four goals in the quarter, including one with just one second left on the clock.
