Who is your role model and why? My role model is my grandmother, HANDS DOWN!!
In my early childhood, my mother past away and my sweet, sweet grandmother stepped her little-self right in to raise my baby sister and I as if we were her own. She is now “Momma”. I have no clue where I would be without her.
Momma has an immense amount of passion and the ability to inspire like no other. She has a clear set of values, is committed, selfless and accepting to all. She recognizes people’s needs and acts on them no matter what their background or circumstances. Not only can she assist in other’s issues, she has the capability of overcoming all obstacles that come her way. She is the strongest and most warm hearted person you will ever meet. I could go on forever about this woman, but to wrap it up I have to say that I truly admire and appreciate everything about her and can only aspire to someday become half as wonderful as she is. I love you momma!
What are your hobbies? Besides dance, I have a strong passion for beauty! I am having the time of my life studying cosmetology and I cannot wait to further my career with it.
I love being a big sister; let me tell you, it is a full time job! My baby sister is my world!
I am also passionate for those with special needs, they just warm my heart! I’ve had a special bond with quite a few of them throughout elementary, middle, and high school. I had the opportunity to mentor two young ladies in a dance class at school and I don’t know who loved it more, myself or them! That experience has brought up the desire to one day have a studio and/or program for special needs children for education in dance.
One person you would like to have dinner with and why? As I mentioned in the role model question, my mother past away during my early childhood, and I would really love to get the opportunity to have a meal with her. If you’ve ever listened to the song “One More Day” by Diamond Rio, it sort of explains my desire. I know she is constantly watching over me and knows everything that goes on in my life but I would love to get to know her. Although it would keep me wishing for more moments with her, it would put the biggest smile on my face to have just one special dinner with her.

He retired as a captain in the Denver police department after 35 years. In 1999 he was diagnosed with melanoma skin cancer and was given 6 months to live. I am proud to say my hero stands strong today continuing to share his crazy stories with all of us grandkids! My grandpa is my role model for a thousand reasons and you’d be lucky just to know him. Who is your role model and why? My parents are obviously huge role models of mine; they are the most fantastic people in my life! However, I’m going to go another route and say that Walt Disney is a huge role model of mine. I spent 5 months working in Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida and the work that man did to create his amazing company is so inspiring! I love how he continues to inspire people to follow their dreams and stay young at heart!
