Pro Experience

(Chesapeake Bayhawks)

Westervelt was traded to the Bayhawks from Denver in October of 2011, adding tremendous depth to the Bayhawks attack. 

(Denver Outlaws)

Drew was selected 4th overall by the Denver Outlaws in the 2007 MLL Collegiate Draft.  He played in 55 games for the Outlaws, recording 114 goals, 6 two-pointers, and adding 58 assists for 176 points.  He also logged 72 ground balls. 

College

Drew attended UMBC where he scored 112 goals and added 94 assists, totaling 206 points.  He was also named to the America East All-Rookie Team, as well as a 2 time All-America East selection.  He is one of UMBC's all-time leading scorers. 

High School

Drew was a three sport standout at John Carroll High School in Baltimore Maryland.  He was 2 time All-County in both basketball and soccer, and was named All-Metro as well as Harford County Player of the Year in lacrosse. 

Personal

Drew was born on April 25, 1985 to Joyce and David Westervelt.  He graduated from UMBC in 2007 with a degree in interdisciplinary studies.
