2011: Bocklet scored one goal with four assists to finish with five points... Picked up 47 ground balls, which ranked second on the team and eighth in the league... Registered one ground ball in the Outlaws’ playoff game vs. Ham (8/27)... Earned his second career MLL All-Star selection.
2010: Bocklet played 12 games with Denver, scoring four goals on 14 shots (11 on goal) with six assists to finish with 10 points... Led the team with 59 ground balls... Picked up two ground balls in one playoff game... Received the Week 8 MLL Defensive Player of the Week award after he picked up five ground balls and added three goals, in helping Denver defeat Chesapeake 12-10... Set a career high with eight ground balls at Bos. (5/15) and matched it two weeks later vs. Tor. (5/29)... Earned his second MLL All-Star and All-MLL honors.
2009: Bocklet appeared in 12 games with the Outlaws, netting three goals on 11 shots (6 on goal) to go with one assist for four total points... Earned his first MLL All-Star and All-MLL selections... Bocklet transferred to Johns Hopkins University after two seasons at Fairfield University in Fairfield, Conn.... Played all 17 games and started the final seven... Finished second on the team with 70 ground balls and added one goal and one assist while winning 1-of-2 faceoffs...Two-year starter at Fairfield on defense, where he played in all 29 games with 18 starts in two seasons (2005, 2006) with the Stags... Bocklet was a three-year member of the varsity lacrosse team (missed entire junior season with an injury) at John Jay High School in Cross River, N.Y.... Two-time all-league, all-section and All-Journal News/North County selection... Helped team to section championship game as a freshman and senior and section semifinals as a sophomore... Earned three varsity letters in football as a standout two-way player (quarterback/cornerback)... Garnered all-league honors as a junior and senior and added all-section and All-Journal News honors as a senior... Brother, Chris is an attackman for the Outlaws... Currently the head coach at Highlands Ranch High School in Highlands Ranch, Colo.... Matthew L. Bocklet is the son of Michael and Terry Bocklet and was born on March 26, 1986, in South Salem, N.Y.
