2011: Hennessey played 10 games for the Outlaws in 2011, winning 142-255 face-offs for a .557 percentage. He also collected 49 ground balls. 2010: Hennessey was drafted by the Denver Outlaws in the second round (11th overall) of the 2010 Collegiate Draft. He played six games his rookie season, going 83-175 at the X for a .474 face-off percentage. He also scored one goal and had 17 ground balls. Collegiate: Hennessey became Bryant University’s all-time leader in faceoff win percentage, taking 824-1,204 (.684) face-offs during his career. The specialist owns four of the top five spots in the Bryant record books for single-season face-off win percentage (including the top two) and ranks second in Bryant Men’s lacrosse history with 345 career ground balls and a pair of 100+ ground ball seasons. Hennesey posted the highest face-off win percentage in NCAA Division I during his junior and senior seasons. He was selected to consecutive Division II All-American teams during his freshman and sophomore years, prior to Bryant’s move up to Division I. Hennessey earned All-Northeast Conference honors, first team All-New England and Bryant’s Athlete of the Year award. |
